Dallin and Sam Sittin in a Tree

Dallin and Sam were married Oct. 8, 2010, in the Salt Lake Temple. President Monson sealed them. It was an amazing experience for me and Braden and I am sure it was way better for Dallin and Sam. We had a great luncheon right after pictures at the temple. The reception was that night. It was full of great food, friends, family and dancing. We are really happy for Dallin and Sam, and are really excited to have Sam in the family.

Marathon 2010

The Marathon is always the first weekend in October. Braden and I decided that we weren't going to run the marathon this year. I was sad i didn't run it when i was watching all the people finishing the race. Hopefully I will be able to run it next year. Lisa, Aubree, Dallin, and Lauren ran it this year and they all did great! I wasn't able to get a picture of lauren. She ran it in around 5 hrs. 15 min. Lauren decided the day before the marathon that she was going to run it. She hadn't been training at all. If i didn't train for the marathon I wouldn't have finished, so way to go lauren for running it and not dying.
Lisa hugging Addy as she passed. Her time was about 3 hrs. and 59 min.
Dallin finished around 3 hrs. and 35 min.
Aubree did it the fastest of them all at around 3 hrs. and 22 min.

1 Year Anniversary

It was our first anniversary on Sept 19 2010. Braden bought us these 2 sleeping bags for our anniversary. He also got me scriptures with Kaely Mitchell on them. I got him a new watch band for his watch he got in Ukraine. The 19th was a sunday so we celebrated our anniversary on Monday the 20th. I took the day off work and so did Braden and we headed to St. George. We went to the temple that morning and did sealings. We went to Judd's for lunch and the Gun Barrel for dinner. We got free tickets to Tarzan the play when we bought our washer and drier so we decided that would be a great thing to do that night for out anniversary. It was really good, but i got sick and so we had to leave at intermission. We had a lovely 1st anniversary and are looking forward to many more.

Ukraine Trip

We had the amazing opportunity last week to go to the Kiev Ukraine Temple dedication. This included meeting President Monson, President Uchtdorf, and Elder Nelson. We also got to go to and see some of the places where Braden served his mission. We had a great time.

Birthday Party for 3

Saturday May 15th, We all got together to celebrate Braden, Logan, and Callie's birthdays. We had a fun Pizza and Swimming party. Callie turned 1, Braden is turning 22, and Logan is turning 30. Braden made out with a bunch of great presents. Thanks to everyone for your gifts! My parents gave Braden a Tent that we are very excited about. Braden's parents and I gave Braden an Ipad. I'm not sure how great of an Idea getting him an Ipad was, but he was super excited about it, so I guess that makes it all worth it.

Happy Birthday to ALL!

Father's and Son's/ Girls Party

This weekend my Dad and all the boys Went to Father's and Sons. They went to Pinto for their party. I asked Braden about Father's and Son's and all I got out of him was it was a lot of fun, the night was cold, and I caught a blow snake. So that is all I have to report about father's and son's. The Girl party we had at Mom's house was a lot of fun. Friday night we went and swam and the Mitchell's house and then we went home and stayed up really late talking and watching some strange show called the Duggars 19 and counting or something like that. The next day I got up early and went running and then we all just hung out until 12 and then we went to Cafe Rio for some lunch. After lunch Mom, Jana, Taizlee, and I went to Old Navy to get some shoes for Callie for her birthday. Jana thought it was a great idea to try and get a picture of her and Taizlee with very large sunglasses on. Jana had a really hard time keeping the glasses straight on Taizlee's face hence the pirate eye.

Cinco De Mayo

We had a fun Cinco De Mayo party with our friends Matt and Alex, Victor and Sarah, and Jess and Nate. We had some good Mexican food, broke a pinata, then played Buzz Word! Before we started swinging at the pinata, Matt declared that the one who broke it open won the special prize that was inside. Nobody knew what the prize was until Braden busted the pinata open and won a lovely pickled sausage.....so nasty! The worst part is that all the boys thought that they needed to try it. We had a lot of fun and a lot of good laughs!
I'm really not left handed, so I'm not sure why I'm swinging that way

Bridal Shower and Slumber Party

At the end of April We went up to Grandma's house for Shea's bridal shower. The bridal shower was a lot of fun. While all the girls were partying inside, Braden and Grandpa were outside planting grass! Braden really enjoyed spending time with Grandpa. Mom, Nikki, Jana, and Taizlee went home right after the bridal shower. Braden and I went down to Salt lake and hung out with Dallin and Sam. We were going to go home after we hung out with them, but we were too tired to try and drive home so we decided to stay in Salt Lake. We were just going to sleep on the floor at Dallin's apartment, but Dallin came up with a grand idea to call his friend Tyson Hafen to see if we could all have a slumber party at his house. He lives in a really nice apartment complex in down town salt lake. It also happens to be the same apartment building that President Monson lives in! We were going to go visit the prophet, but we decided that he wouldn't enjoy us knocking on his door in the middle of the night.

Dog Friends

Braden's mission friend Jake Hulet has a yellow lab named Sam. Sam is like 3-4 weeks older than Harley and look how much bigger he is. Braden and Jake have manly movie Mondays and Jake always brings Sam so him and Harley can play. Its always a surprise when I come home from work to 2 large dogs!

FRIENDS!

One of my best friends Amelia and her boyfriend Hans stopped in cedar to say bye on their way home to Idaho. Amelia and I have been friends since we were little. We still have as much fun as we used to have or possibly even more fun even though we are grown up. We ate at the Garden House for lunch. It was a lot of fun to be able to spend some time with them.
A bunch of us girls went out to dinner for Rachel's birthday. We always have a fun time when we get together.

Farewell to Nate

Nate left April 13th to Salvador Brazil. We will miss him but he is where he is supposed to be. Last picture of all the boys together

Family Temple Night

Me and Braden and my whole family were able to go to the temple together. It wasn't just a normal night at the temple...it was a very special night. While my dad was on his mission he bought an old bible and on the front page there was a bunch of names. Well a couple of months ago my dad had this feeling that he needed to do the work for these people. My little sister and brother did baptisms for them. Then the rest of us were able to do endowments for them, and as soon as those go through we will seal them. It was a really great experience to be at the temple with my family and to do the work for those people. I know those people are so thankful to finally have their work done for them.

Glasses:)

Kirtland Ohio

We were able to drive to Kirtland and visit the church sights. It took about 3 long hours to drive there, but it was a pretty drive. We drove through Cleveland which was pretty cool. We didn't stop because we didn't want to get shot:) I'm not really sure how much I learned on the tour because Hope didn't really like listening to the missionaries. I was concentrating more on not letting Hope climb on Joseph Smith's original table and chairs that are over 100 yrs. old. Braden thinks Joseph Smith wouldn't have minded that much, but the missionaries didn't quite approve.

We weren't able to take a tour of the Kirtland temple because it took us too long to do the other tour. Also Hope was so done so we didn't even want to try and go to the temple.

I really just love Addy's pose. She had spilled some soda on her shirt and didn't want to get it in the picture so she posed this lovely pose!

A Spring Break to Remember

We finally made it to Michigan, and I'm glad we did because it was beautiful there. One of the days we were there we went to a park in Birmingham. Michigan is a different place, but i really liked it. There were lakes everywhere and beautiful trees and lots of shrubbery. Did I mention that Aubree just had a baby like a week before we got there and she was so kind to let us stay with her.
This was a really cool turf hill that all the little kids were sliding down on cardboard boxes.
Baby Hayden only 8 days old and kicken it in Birmingham.

It was St. Patrick's Day and everybody was in green besides me and Braden.

My favorite little Hope! She is quite a ball of joy/craziness/tantrums/busy! It took all three of us to try and keep things in control.

Our Journey to Detroit

For spring break Braden and I decided we would go to Detroit to visit Aubree and Craig(Braden's sister and brother in-law.) We were flying standby and oh what an experience that was. This first picture is us in the Salt Lake airport after about 10 hrs. of waiting to get on a flight. We were in the airport for a total of about 13 hours that day and we still didn't get anywhere. Luckily my grandparents live in Ogden, so they picked us up after all the flights to Detroit had left and they took us to dinner and let us stay at their house. We knew we had a really good chance of getting on a flight the next day at 7p.m because there were like 107 open seats, so we decided instead of going and sitting at the airport all day again, we would hang out with grandma flora until 7 that night. We had a blast we her. The morning started off with a large breakfast, way too much for just 2 people, but don't worry we conquered it:) The grandma took us bowling...and if you have ever been bowling with grandma, you know you better bring your A game. unfortunately Braden and I must have left our A game in Cedar because grandma waisted us. After we went bowling grandma took us to lunch at the Olive Garden...grandma's favorite place! That night we finally got on a flight and we actually got upgraded to first class which was quite ideal. It was not very fun hanging out in an airport all day, but we did get to spend time with my grandparents which was a lot of fun.
