Kaden's First Christmas

Grandma and Grandpa Mitchell gave Kaden a Toy Story four wheeler.  Hayden got a Cars four wheeler and i'm pretty sure that was his favorite gift.  Santa brought Kaden a radio flyer wagon, some clothes, and some other small toys.  I do have to say that I think Christmas is more fun when you have your own children.

Kaden couldn't figure out how to make it go so we put him on with Hayden cuz he had no problem making his go.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was filled with lots of food, fun, and family.  That night all of the Mitchell grandkids got to open a present.  It was pajamas.  Kaden got Toy Story pajamas, which went along with the toy story theme of his christmas presents.  We were so happy the Hunter's were able to be here for Christmas.

Santa Claus

Kaden's first experience with Santa didn't go over very well.  Santa came to the club house for all the neighborhood kids.  We thought it would be better if Kaden went before Taizlee because we knew Taizlee would freak out and we didn't want her to scare Kaden.  Well once I put Kaden on Santa's lap we wanted to hurry and try and get a picture with Taizlee so I started to push Taizlee towards Santa and thats when the screaming started.  I couldn't help but laugh. It still make me smile thinking about it.
A week or so later Braden's parents had a ward party and had Santa come.  We decided to try it again and Kaden actually did really well.  Hayden was really calm so I think that helped keep Kaden calm.

Kaden's favorite pass time

Kaden absolutely loves his jumper.  He is quite the maniac in it.  And more often then not, he will jump himself to sleep.

Angels Landing

At the beginning of November we hiked Angels Landing.  I had never hiked it before so we thought it would be a fun hike to do and not too hard.  I loved it and so did Kaden.  Kaden loves people, and every person we would pass he would smile so big at them or make some sort of noise so they would look at him.  We got a lot of comments about taking  our 7 month old baby on the hike.  I honestly didn't think it was scary at all.  The last mile does get a little sketchy, but if you don't venture off the trail there is no way you could fall.  It would be a different story if we took Kaden when he was 1 and running around like crazy....that would be a bad idea.

Kaden loves bath time and he also loves his cousins.  Callie and Taizlee are great helpers when it comes to taking  care of Kaden.

Halloween 2011

Kaden was a dragon for Halloween. He was only 6 months so he didn't understand what was going on, but he did like the candy. We had a trunk or treat with our ward the day before Halloween. On Halloween We went out to our parents houses to visit them and do a little more trick-or-treating.
