Family Temple Night

Me and Braden and my whole family were able to go to the temple together. It wasn't just a normal night at the temple...it was a very special night. While my dad was on his mission he bought an old bible and on the front page there was a bunch of names. Well a couple of months ago my dad had this feeling that he needed to do the work for these people. My little sister and brother did baptisms for them. Then the rest of us were able to do endowments for them, and as soon as those go through we will seal them. It was a really great experience to be at the temple with my family and to do the work for those people. I know those people are so thankful to finally have their work done for them.

Kirtland Ohio

We were able to drive to Kirtland and visit the church sights. It took about 3 long hours to drive there, but it was a pretty drive. We drove through Cleveland which was pretty cool. We didn't stop because we didn't want to get shot:) I'm not really sure how much I learned on the tour because Hope didn't really like listening to the missionaries. I was concentrating more on not letting Hope climb on Joseph Smith's original table and chairs that are over 100 yrs. old. Braden thinks Joseph Smith wouldn't have minded that much, but the missionaries didn't quite approve.

We weren't able to take a tour of the Kirtland temple because it took us too long to do the other tour. Also Hope was so done so we didn't even want to try and go to the temple.

I really just love Addy's pose. She had spilled some soda on her shirt and didn't want to get it in the picture so she posed this lovely pose!

A Spring Break to Remember

We finally made it to Michigan, and I'm glad we did because it was beautiful there. One of the days we were there we went to a park in Birmingham. Michigan is a different place, but i really liked it. There were lakes everywhere and beautiful trees and lots of shrubbery. Did I mention that Aubree just had a baby like a week before we got there and she was so kind to let us stay with her.
This was a really cool turf hill that all the little kids were sliding down on cardboard boxes.
Baby Hayden only 8 days old and kicken it in Birmingham.

It was St. Patrick's Day and everybody was in green besides me and Braden.

My favorite little Hope! She is quite a ball of joy/craziness/tantrums/busy! It took all three of us to try and keep things in control.

Our Journey to Detroit

For spring break Braden and I decided we would go to Detroit to visit Aubree and Craig(Braden's sister and brother in-law.) We were flying standby and oh what an experience that was. This first picture is us in the Salt Lake airport after about 10 hrs. of waiting to get on a flight. We were in the airport for a total of about 13 hours that day and we still didn't get anywhere. Luckily my grandparents live in Ogden, so they picked us up after all the flights to Detroit had left and they took us to dinner and let us stay at their house. We knew we had a really good chance of getting on a flight the next day at 7p.m because there were like 107 open seats, so we decided instead of going and sitting at the airport all day again, we would hang out with grandma flora until 7 that night. We had a blast we her. The morning started off with a large breakfast, way too much for just 2 people, but don't worry we conquered it:) The grandma took us bowling...and if you have ever been bowling with grandma, you know you better bring your A game. unfortunately Braden and I must have left our A game in Cedar because grandma waisted us. After we went bowling grandma took us to lunch at the Olive Garden...grandma's favorite place! That night we finally got on a flight and we actually got upgraded to first class which was quite ideal. It was not very fun hanging out in an airport all day, but we did get to spend time with my grandparents which was a lot of fun.
